“Michelle Hayes, London”

I was in tremendous pain and went to my local A&E. After a CT scan it was confirmed that I had a kidney stone. Dr Raza reviewed me urgently and arranged for my operation as a matter of urgency as he could see how much pain I was in.

The morning of the operation Dr Raza explained what the operation involved and put my mind at total ease. Following the operation I was pain free and was surprised at how quickly I was up and about. The aftercare has been absolutely fantastic, very thorough and lots of advice on how to avoid getting stones in the future. My whole experience was very professionally handled and my treatment arranged promptly.

So to Dr Raza and his team, very many thanks. I could not have wished for a better doctor and will be eternally grateful.[

On recommendation I made an appointment to see Dr Raza. From the friendly and detailed initial consultations, and initial investigations that followed immediately afterwards, I was found to have not one but three kidney stones requiring urgent treatment.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how fast the necessary treatment was actioned. After surgery I returned home within less than 2 days completely restored to good health and without suffering even the slightest discomfort. Quite an amazingly calming experience when compared to the traumatic treatments endured at an NHS hospital for similar problems previously.
If you are of a nervous disposition, have any fears over medical procedures, in fact, any worries at all regarding kidney stone related problems- talk to Dr Raza and have all your worries laid to rest.
I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Raza for your similar treatments and can guarantee you that you will (quite literally) be in safe and competent hands.

When I first met Dr Raza 3 years ago he explained everything to me relating to my enlarged prostate. But he was in no rush to operate, which suited me at the time. I didn’t tell him but although I had operations in the past, both private and NHS, I was really scared. But as the 3 years passed my symptoms progressed and a simple visit to the gents was an ordeal. My wife’s oncologist who we were visiting at the same hospital told me now that he had treated my wife successfully, it was time to get back to Dr Raza and sort myself out.
He really gave me the confidence to go ahead and the pre op tests were simple and painless. The afternoon of the operation went like clockwork and his team were highly professional. Dr Raza had prepared me for everything and there were no surprises.
He visited me in the ward and gave further advice concerning what I should do after release. There was no pain whatsoever from the operation site. The catheter was a bit uncomfortable but he assured me it was only for a few days.
I was phoned two days after discharge with the result of the lab analysis. I was prepared if the result was not good but Dr Raza told me he was not suspecting cancer. The result was fine with no cancer.
The follow up consultation was a delightful meeting which I looked forward to. I thought this was unique, me looking forward to meeting a doctor
I have told my friends at work of my experience of this great surgeon’s work.

I would like to thank Dr Raza for the great work you did for me.

I have seen other Urologist at the Cromwell Hospital and I must say, I have never been satisfied or happy with them until I had a pleasure of meeting Dr Raza.

I cannot say enough, not only how great and professional Dr Raza has been, but how different his services are from the other doctors that I have met, in the past. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands and I had absolute faith in his ability to help me. His dedication and patience is incomparable.

Dr Raza, is willing to go extra mile to make things easy for you and to do his best to help.

I was suffering from what I thought it was a bladder infection, after carefully looking into the symptoms and having done various tests, followed by a cystoscopy I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. Dr Raza recommend different options of treatments including oral medication which i tried initially.. One of them was  Bladder Instillations, he explained in a great detail about the medication and the procedure as well as about the possible side effects and how this may help my symptoms. I felt confident that I was receiving the best care possible.

It was suggested to have a course of four treatments over four weeks, one treatment per week. I was extremely scared of the pain, which I don’t handle well, Dr Raza has been extremely understanding and patient with me. The medication was installed into the bladder with a small catheter, the treatment was done by the doctor to reduce the pain. I had no pain at all during the treatment and very shortly after the treatment I could see an improvement in my symptoms. After the the second treatment my symptoms were almost gone and finally I stopped feeling the urgency of going to the toilet every few minutes. After four treatments I felt no pressure or any pain in my bladder, I also had no sides effects. I believe that the recommended treatment really helped me and I’m free of horrible and inconvenient symptoms. I can carry on my normal life now. I am back to my daily routine and my work out at the gym without the pain!

Lastly, I would like to mention about Dr Raza’s secretary, I have dealt with so many private doctors in the past ten years and their secretaries and have never been happy with their services until I spoke with this lovely lady. Nothing seemed too much trouble, appointments were always available to me and his PA tried to accommodate my needs at all times and even at the very last minute. The phone calls were returned immediately. I have never received such fantastic care both from the doctor and the secretary. I would highly recommend Dr Raza, his dedication and knowledge is remarkable.
